Madam Ursula Owusu, NPP Member of Parliament for Ablekuma West has backed her party�s General Secretary, Kwadwo Owusu Afriyie, popularly known as Sir John over his accusation that the National Democratic Congress (NDC) are behind the near-fatal accident of Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia. The 2012 Vice Presidential Candidate for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) was involved in an accident over the weekend at Borle in the Northern Region. Sir John implicated the NDC and President John Dramani Mahama in the accident and indicated that it was a grand scheme to assassinate the former Deputy Governor of the Bank of Ghana so that the NPP case at the Supreme Court will no longer be pursued. Sir John has received a lot of criticisms both from within and outside his party for making such a wild allegation. However, contributing to a panel discussion on Peace FM�s premium Morning Show �Kokrokoo� with host Kwami Sefa-Kayi, Ursula Owusu: � I fully support the allegation being made by Sir John; absolutely. Ursula indicated that Dr. Bawumia has still having hallucinations of the incident because of how everything occurred. �How can three cars among the convoy had a flat tyre; how can that be a coincidence? This was surely done by the NDC and the National Security�� she said curtly.
