"My Nominations Are On Point"- Kwaw Kese On Ghana Music Awards

Sensational hip life artiste Kwaw Kese has put on record that his two nominations in this years Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA) are just on point. Kwaw, popularly known to his fans as King of The Streets, told NEWS-ONE in an interview that he was not surprised to see his name in the Artiste of the Year and Best Collaboration of the Year categories since in 2012 he very worked hard (performance wise and delivery wise). My nominations are just on point because last year every important show happened because I was on it, he told the paper. He explained that he had no idea how the board for the VGMAs categorized this years nomination list but with the hard work he put in his career, I deserve to be the artiste of the year. For the first time, an artiste has used a single to get double nominations in the Ghana Music Awards and that is a record. We are hoping that VGMA will continue so that the right people will win what they deserve, Kwaw Kese said. Commenting on the various discrepancies in this years nominations, Kwaw stated that every year, people found problems with the event but it was about time VGMA solved some of these problems. But I think it is high time the organizers of the show grow up because the show has been around for a while and we musicians deserve quality when it comes to VGMA. The least they can do is to boost the quality of show without any skirmishes. Kwaw Kese hinted that he would be releasing his Kalabuley single online on Saturday. According to Kwaw, the single, which talks about how far people have come, will be released with a video as well.
