I Enjoyed Partnering Asamoah Gyan Abdul Majeed Waris

Spartak Moscow striker Abdul Majeed Waris has expressed delight to have partnered Black Stars captain Asamoah Gyan in Ghanas 4-0 win over the Sudan in the World Cup qualifier. I think he (Asamoah Gyan) is a great partner and this is the first time and we had a very good understanding of each other. We had a good communication on the field of play and I think that is the reason why we have been able to achieve our aim to win for the nation, he said. The goal poacher scored his maiden goal for the Black Stars in a World Cup qualifier against Sudan on Sunday and feels great to be part of the 4-0 mauling as Ghana narrow the gap in Group D. Majeed Waris, who was the goal king in the Swedish Allsvenskan last season before moving to Russia, scored Ghanas third goal from a powerful header in the 79th minute from a Solomon Asante cross in Kumasi. Majeed however said its my dream to see Ghana at the World Cup and I want to be part of that. Meanwhile, Fulham midfielder Emmanuel Frimpong has lauded the entire Black Stars team for their massive support to him on the field of play since Sudans encounter was his first international assignment for the nation after switching nationality. The players made it easy for me obviously all these players are top class players, they made me feel welcome and its a great day for me and my family. This is the day I am going to cherish for the rest of my life, he said. Addingl; After beating Sudan, weve got a great chance we just have to make sure we win all our games and it will be an easy trip for us to Brazil. We just have to maintain focus and we will get there.
