A member of the Communication Team of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), David Osei has alleged that the National Organizer of the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC) Yaw Boateng Gyan and others are afraid of the NPP General Secretary, lawyer Owusu Afriyie (Sir John) since he is the only one who can meet them squarely in terms of argument. He stressed that it is strange for the NDC National Organizer to advice the NPP that Sir John is weak and not living up to expectation as an executive member; as such they (the NPP) should relinquish him of his position as the General Secretary. In view of this, the NPP communicator added when speaking on Okay FM that if Sir John is weak then the NDC should rather take advantage of his weakness; as they want someone they can bully in the position of Sir John as a General Secretary. He reiterated that NDC is afraid of Sir John and that is why they want him out as a General Secretary. He again said that; �if the NDC General Secretary, Asiedu Nketia can describe Sir John as a dessert,then he can be called starter,� adding that Asiedu Nketia is bitter with words than Sir John. According to him, Asiedu Nketia has no credibility to talk about Sir John since he can use his office as a board member to award blocks contract to his own company, therefore describing him as the most corrupt person who has abused his office for personal gain. He further said that Johnson Asiedu Nketia has no moral justification to talk about the NPP General Secretary, Sir John as a comic relief.
