Ghanaians Should Be Glad Gov't Is Investing GH47m Into Guinea Fowl Business

Majority Chief Whip, Alhaji Mohammed Muntaka Mubarak, has chided the New Patriotic Party (NPP) MP for Efutu Constituency, Alex Markin for trying to create sensationalism out of governments effort to invest GH47 million in a guinea fowl project under the Savannah Accelerated Development Authority (SADA). Hon Alex Markin, on Monday, challenged government on the floor of the House, to give a detailed account of the amount of money it has spent on the guinea fowl and tree-planting projects embarked on under the Savannah Accelerated Development Authority (SADA). According to him, there is no attestation to show the project is actually in existence. The investments, according to him, were allegedly made during the 2012 election year and so Ghanaians have the right to know the details of the project since it was not captured in this years budget. In an attempt to rubbish claims by the NPP MP, Hon. Muntaka, who is the NDC Member of Parliament for Asawase in the Ashanti Region, charged Ghanaians to take Hon. Markins message with a pinch of salt.
