We Hope To Win The Trophy Again - Sellas Tetteh

Ghana Under-20 coach, Sellas Tetteh is very optimistic the Black Satellite will ones again emerge victors of the on-going African Youth Championship in Algeria due to the performance his players exhibited during their 4-2 penalty win over Mali to advance to the finals. Sellas, who guided Ghana to their last title success in 2009 believes the present generation of the national U-20 side are showing qualities similar to the title-winning side four years ago. According to the award winning coach, his experience as a national coach over the decade has manifested in his is line of work anytime been appointed to handle the national team. �It�s not by mind, by knowledge or by wisdom but by the special grace of God. Luckily for me or fortunate for me, I have gained much experience from the job and been a national coach for more than a century, that has really helped me so I always want to accomplish my mission and it has been working positively. I thank God for that and I believe bigger and massive things are ahead of me,� he said. Sellas �Bobovic� Tetteh in an interview with Accra-based Happy FM says he will not describe himself as �Under-20 coach expert� since he believes there are more coaches who can handle to Satellites to success. �Well, anyone can call or say that but in this our job, when you get stock there for a very long time, you gain much experience and know how to handle teams. And that is exactly what is happening. �I don�t think I�m the expert for the Under-20. It�s just by the special grace of God that has brought us this far. When I took the job, I knew there were challenges but I was confident we could do something special for our country,� he said. �By the grace of God, it could happen. I am confident we can win it. We have been here before and we can do it again. I want to thank all Ghanaians for their prayers and support. We�re focused for the final game against Egypt and I�m hopeful that we can win the cup,� he said. Ghana won the African Youth Championship in 1993, 1999 and 2009 and hoping to win again under the headship of Sellas Tetteh who guided the Satellite to lift the trophy in 2009.
