Ghana will take their place in Group A of the 2013 FIFA U-20 World Cup in Turkey after finishing second in the African Youth Championship on Saturday. The Black Satellites, who went down 5-4 in a penalty shoot-out to Egypt in the continental final will join France, USA and Spain in Group A later this year. Bronze medalist Nigeria, who beat Mali 2-1 in the third-place match will enter Group B along with Cuba, Korea Republic and Portugal. Mali, who finished fourth in Algeria will compete against Mexico, Greece and Paraguay in Group D play. All four teams had already qualified for Turkey 2013 by reaching the semi-finals. The tournament will be played June 21-July 13 in seven Turkish cities.
