All Metropolitan, Municipal and District Chief Executives (MMDCEs) are to sign performance contracts with their Regional Ministers to ensure effective realization of national goals. The Minister of Local Government and Rural Development, Akwesi Oppong-Fosu, who disclosed this to Radio Ghana, said prominent on the government's agenda is to ensure effective implementation of a sanitation plan which will facilitate effective health care and management of drains.
