CHRAJ Must Speed Up Its Investigations Into SADA - Ackumey

Member of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) legal team, Lawyer Chris Ackumey has urged the Commission on Human Rights and Administrative Justice (CHRAJ) to speed up its investigations into the operations of the Savannah Accelerated Development Authority (SADA). CHRAJ, on Friday, initiated investigations into the operations of SADA following calls by several interest groups including the Ghana Integrity Initiative (GII). Contributing to Citi FMs weekend news analysis and current affairs programme, The Big Issue, Mr Ackumey encouraged Ghanaians to consider the SADA issue as a matter of national concern and stop reading politics into it. When it comes to matters of national interest, I will not compromise and neither will President Mahama compromise. So I want to give the assurance that all those who have this kind of apprehension over wrong doing that, no Ghanaian, either in NDC or in the helm of affairs, be it the President will cover up for any suspected wrong doing. Lawyer Ackumey continued saying, Investigations must be made for the law to take its natural course so that whoever ruins the fortunes of this country to allegedly enrich himself must be brought to order.
