At least 15 stores and shops, including a storey building have been gutted by fire in Kumasi, the Ashanti regional capital destroying property worth millions of Ghana cedis. The fire broke out last night at Adum Central business district. The regional office of domestic Airline Antrak Ghana as well as a pharmacy was among the several officers and shops destroyed in the fire. Some Residents in the area attempted looting some items amidst the fire which broke out about 10pm on Thursday April 25, 2013. It is not clear yet what the cause of the fire was. No casualties have also been reported.
