NDC Urges Security Agencies To Deal With Trouble Makers At Supreme Court

The General Secretary of the NDC, Johnson Asiedu-Nketiah says the party has picked intelligence that an unidentified group of people are planning to storm the Supreme Court this morning to demonstrate in solidarity with government. He said the motive of the supposed group is to parade in NDC T-shirts and to create confusion to mar the judicial process. In an interview with Radio Ghana's correspondent, Mr Asiedu-Nketiah says the case pending before the Court is a legal process and not a rally. He reminds NDC faithful that under no circumstance should any of them wear party colours to the Supreme Court to lend support to the party. He called on the security agencies to deal ruthlessly with the supposed group of people who will parade in NDC T-shirts at the Court. Reacting to the comments of Mr Asiedu-Nketiah, the General Secretary of the NPP, Kwadwo Owusu-Afriyie denies any involvement of the NPP to mobilise people to mess up at the Supreme Court. He said what Mr Asiedu-Nketiah put out is exactly what the NDC rather intends to do.
