A member of the legal team of the petitioners in the election petition case currently before the Supreme Court, Gloria Akuffu has stated that her team remains "on solid grounds" and poised to make a good showing in court on Thursday. "Our expectation is that Mr Tsikata will continue his cross-examination. I can only say that we are comfortable, the way it is going," she noted in an interview with citifmonline.com Nana Akufo-Addo, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia and Jake Obetsebi Lamptey are, by a petition, challenging the 2012 election results which saw President John Mahama emerge the winner. Lead Counsel for the third respondent in the election petition case at the Supreme Court, Tsatsu Tsikata will continue cross examining Dr. Mahamadu Bawumia. It is expected that he will seek to punch holes in the evidence presented by the petitioners who are praying the court to annual over 4 million votes.
