The Office of the President has directed the Director-General of the Social Security and National Insurance Trust ( SSNIT), Dr Frank Odoom, to proceed on leave prior to his retirement with effect from May 15, 2013.
Mr Ernest Thompson will assume the position of acting Director General on that date.
A statement issued in Accra Wednesday said the directive was contained in a letter signed by the Chief of Staff, Mr Prosper Bani.
