NDC Should Be Wary Of The Fact That The Supreme Court Could Announce NPP As Winner

A member of the Peoples National Convention, Henry Haruna Asante has scolded the NDCs Member of Parliament for Techiman South by drawing his attention to the fact that elections can sometimes be won at the courts when petitioned to look into electoral matters that recorded several malpractices. Hon. Mensah Adjei, Member of Parliament for the Techiman South constitutency, deliberately rubbed salt into the wounds of the petitioners challenging the legitimacy of President Mahama by positing that they can continue wasting their time in court if they dont know elections are won at the polling centers. But Mr. Asante informed Peacefmonline.com that it was completely baseless for Hon. Adjei to make such outrageous comments when there were similar cases where those who claim to have won elections at the polling centers were turned down by the court after examining the case. In my own constituency Ayawaso West Wuogon, Rebecca Akweley Adotey of the NDC was declared winner of a parliamentary elections but George Isaac Amoo of the NPP sent the case to court and won the case. To assert that cases arent won at the court is unnecessary...naturally the judgement of the judges in this case would be very historic, he said.
