F. F. Anto Has Earned Respect And Admiration of Ghanaians - Kwesi Pratt

The Managing Editor of the Insight newspaper, Kwesi Pratt Jnr., has congratulated Mr. Frederick Fredua Anto, the Ashanti regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) for displaying a high sense of discipline and maturity in calling on all Ghanaians to treat the murder of his nephew at a pub in Kumasi as a criminal issue and not a political one. According to the ace Journalist, Mr. Anto has earned profound respect and admiration from the all Ghanaians for exhibiting love for Mother Ghana by calling to order all those making inflammatory remarks with respect to the killing of his nephew. I have said somewhere else and would want to repeat it here that I have come to respect Mr. Anto very much, for him to come out to tell everyone to stop the politicization of the killing of his nephew because it is a criminal issue. That is how our leaders must be speaking. This is murder and not politics so the law must be allowed to take its course because if you are even a politician and you kill someone, it is still murder, he asserted. Kwesi Pratt made this comments on Adom FM on Thursday, during the discussion of the state of security in Kumasi, the capital city of the Ashanti Region. What seems to be the deteriorating state of security in Kumasi was further thrown in the limelight after about three people we killed including, Prince Blankson Opoku Anto, 29, the nephew of the NPP Regional Chairman at a popular drinking spot at Dichemso, a suburb of Kumasi. The incident happened just a few days after a suspected supporter of the NPP was killed in broad daylight at Ash Town, also a suburb of Ashanti regional capital. However, in an interview with Daily Guide, Mr. Anto stressed he was convinced that the matter was purely a robbery case, stressing I dont suspect any political motive in the death of my nephew.
