Johnson Asiedu Nketia, popularly known as General Mosquito, General Secretary of the National Democratic Congress (NDC); on Thursday mounted the witness box to testify in the petition challenging the declaration of President John Dramani Mahama as the winner of the 2012 presidential election at the Supreme Court. General Mosquito who was beaming with smiles took his oath using the Bible. General Mosquito has been given the power of attorney by the President to testify on his (President�s) behalf and so he is currently representing both the first and third respondents of the ongoing election petition. General Mosquito is the second to appear in the witness box after Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, star witness for the petitioners.
