B.A. United prepares for middle-league competition

The Management of BA United has upped preparation ahead of the club�s national middle-league engagement scheduled for Cape Coast next month. The club has launched a five-day fund raiser aimed as gathering financial support to aid their campaign back to the elite division. Bechem United and B.A. United emerged champions and runners-up respectively in the �Zone 1 B� of National Division One League and will engage their counterparts from �Zone 1 A�, Guan United and Yashin F/C in the preliminary stages of the competition. Kwabena Kyere Stuggard, Chairman of the Club says management required about GHC70,000 to enable the club to effectively participate in the 10-day middle-league. B.A. United is scheduled to camp in Cape Coast ahead of the competition. Kwasi Oppong Ababio, Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for Sunyani who launched the programme said the absence of teams from the region in the elite division was working against the development of the Coronation Park. He appealed to the traditional rulers, businessmen and women to support B/A United to re-join the Premiership.
