Two suspected thieves, who killed a middle age man at Mallam Junction in an attempt to escape with 15 stolen pregnant goats, have been grabbed by the police. The deceased, Kwodjo Obour, 41, was ran over by an Opel Vectra car with registration number GT 1689S and occupied by the suspects at around 6pm on Sunday evening. When the vehicle was later searched by the police, 15 pregnant goats were found tied with rope inside their vehicle. Further investigations revealed that the suspects stole the animals from the ranch of the owners at Gomoa Potsin in the Central Region. Suspect Abraham, who was then driving the vehicle, will be charged with a motor offence by the Odorkor MTTU while the police will also charge them for stealing. The two are currently in police custody awaiting trial.
