A member of the communication machinery for the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Hopeson Adoryeh has alleged that; what is happening in the party is a National Security sponsored program which he said the NPP is aware of. He alleged that money which is supposed to be used for maintaining and protecting the people in the country has been given to some leaders of the NPP to stage this confusion in the party. He however alleged that it will not be out of place if what Dr. Arthur Kennedy is doing is another manipulation of the National Security sponsored program; adding that it is good to have elders in the party but when their behavior becomes intolerable they must be called to order. Speaking on Okay FM, he attributed the behavior of Dr. Wereko-Brobbey to the fact that he is now an energy consultant to the NDC government; in that if the petitioners succeed in their pursue over the 2012 election petition, he will lose his opportunity of staying as a consultant and so he is bent on defending President Mahama to continue to be in power in order to protect his interest over the interest of the party. He said that God has seen his orchestration with the NDC to gang up against the NPP; in that it is disheartening to realize that the serial callers of the NPP are everyday doing their best to spend a lot of money to call into radio programs to defend the party, but then those who are direct beneficiaries like Dr. Arthur Kennedy and Wereko-Brobbey in the party are working against it as those serial callers are sacrificing for nothing. He again said that the time has come for those elders in the party to step aside if they feel tired so that the die-hard members and supporters of NPP will work for the progress of the party; stressing that it is on the records of the NPP that some leaders of the party were invited by President Mahama to create confusion in NPP when the case began in the court. He hinted that the behavior of Dr. Wereko-Brobbey shows that he hates Nana Akufo-Addo and that the hatred cannot be hidden. He also said that the hatred of Dr. Wereko-Brobbey has extended to Dr. Bawumia because he has become the favorite of the members of the party since he performed exceptionally well in his evidence in chief and during the cross-examination. He said that those who benefited from the party when it was in power have abandoned it now and that they have kept their money without assisting the course of the party; in that the young ones in the party are angry at such members because their statements are rubbishing the efforts of the petitioners in the 2012 election petition.
