Eugene Yaw Boakye Antwi, a National Council member of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) has asked the Commissioner of the Electoral Commission, Dr. Kojo Afari Dajn to chose between democracy or coup d��tat whiles answering questions in the witness box.
According to the failed NPP candidate for the Subin constituency in Kumasi, the EC boss must come tell Ghanaians �what happened with the registration, what happened on the voting day, what has happened since the petition came to court� but has ended up being evasive in his answers to the Supreme Court.
�When Dr. Afari Djan mounted the witness box last week, I thought, yes, this is a man who wants to redeem his tattered reputation. It does not matter his PHD, It does not matter what accolade is being heaped on Dr. Afari Djan�. �He has to tell us the truth. Exactly what happened, that�s what we need to know. Right, he does not have to side with any political party�, Mr. Yaw Boakye Antwi said.
Afari Djan �must admit� the flaws in the polls conducted in 2013 for the country to �move on�.
