Even If Busted Airport Security Official Is NDC Member; He's Not Party Financier

Deputy Minister of Information, Felix Ofosu Kwakye, considers it disingenious and hypocritical on the part of the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP) to link the arrest of the Managing Director of SOHIN Security in the United States for drug trafficking to the ruling government. According to the Deputy Minister, Solomon Adelaquaye is not a member of the NDC party. He was however quick to add that even if he is a member, he is not the party financier. There is no financier in the NDC that I, Felix Ofosu dont know. If he (Adelaquaye) is a financier I would know so Kennedy Agyapong should stop the political equalization, he counseled. Following the arrest of the Managing Director of SOHIN security, Solomon Adelaquaye, in the United States of America for trafficking cocaine, MP for the Assin North constituency, Kennedy Ohene Agyapong, on " Okay FM" suggested to founding fathers of the NDC to undertake a rebranding exercise of the Partys name from National Democratic Congress to Narcotics Dealers Congress; since that name suits them best. The outspoken NPP MP accused the NDC of encouraging Solomon Adelaquaye in the drug trade because he is the financier of the party. But in sharp riposte on Asempa FM, the Deputy Information Minister rather accused the erstwhile Kufour administration of superintending over the disappearance of 77 parcels of cocaine from a ship even when they had received intel on the approaching vessel. Can you imagine a party in power being so clueless as to what intelligence is all about that it had to take foreigners to notify them of parcels of cocaine on board a ship heading towards Ghana? And they (NPP) did nothing about it... for a Limping Man to take possession of 77 parcel of cocaine. So if Ghanaians voted them (NPP) out of power because of their corrupt governance, why then must they want to blame we (the NDC) and associate us with a baron? he questioned.
