The current second deputy Speaker of Parliament, Hon. Ebo Barton Oduro, has been accused by Kennedy Agyapong of masterminding the payment of dubious debts to Alfred Woyome and Waterville through the aid of Madam Betty Mould Iddrisu when he was her deputy at the attorney general�s department. Businessman and NDC financier, Mr Alfred Woyome was dragged to court by the state for allegedly duping the state to a tune of GHC51 million Ghana cedis. However by the intervention of the Supreme Court, Waterville Holdings was ordered to return back the monies paid to them for no work done. Speaking on Okay FM, Mr. Agyapong observed that when the issue of payments of judgment debts arose, he vehemently cautioned government to retrieve the monies paid to Mr. Woyome and Waterville; but by kind courtesy of Mr. Barton Oduro, Mr. Woyome had his leeway. Mr. Agyapong revealed that as at the time he was campaigning to get the monies back for the nation, Mr. Barton Oduro was on air lying to Ghanaians that the Mills-led administration had saved this country money by paying monies to Mr. Woyome and Waterville. �This man (Barton Oduro) is now a Deputy Speaker of Parliament; it is an indictment and a disgrace to parliament of Ghana. He has to be removed as deputy speaker of parliament. All the monies Ghana lost were through the actions of Barton Oduro and Betty Mould Iddrisu�, he said.
