The Leader of the Convention People�s Party, Samia Nkrumah has denied stealing Ghc700, 000 of the party�s 2012 campaign funds. The Daily Graphic Newspaper reported on Thursday that the former Jomoro MP, together with the party�s 2012 Flagbearer Dr. Abu Sakara Forster, was unable to account for the money, according to the report of a fact-finding committee set up by the Party. She told XYZ News that: �There are many aspects of the Graphic story that are not accurate�. �A slant has been added. It is not true that this amount has gone missing�it is an outright lie�, she asserted. According to her, �the fact that the fact-finding committee�s report was leaked in the first place shows ill-intent because it wasn�t supposed to be leaked�so that alone casts some suspicion�. The Daily Graphic publication claims other party executives such as General Secretary Ivor Kobina Greenstreet and party member Rodaline Imoro Ayarna are also alleged to have benefited from the embezzlement.
