The Parakeets have agreed to sell their priceless Ghanaian asset to the English Premier League side. Spanish top flight side Espanyol have agreed to sell Ghana international Mubarak Wakaso to ambitious English Premier League outfit Swansea for a fee of 5 million. The 22-year-old Ghanaian is likely to depart the El Stadi Cornelia El Prat as talks between the Swans and Espanyol have almost concluded for him to play for the Capital One cup holders. Espanyol have confirmed that they will accept the offer put down by Swansea for Wakaso without question, Spanish football website Fichajes.net reported. Michael Laudrup is noted for bringing in unknown, but quality talents from the La Liga, and the fairy tale story of Michu means Wakaso can also follow suit as the coach has monitored him for so long and is convinced he is the type of player he wants. The Ghana midfielder was arguably his clubs best player last season which was also his debut season for the Parakeets playing 26 times and scoring thrice with six assists. Juventus, Everton, and Inter Milan are also among the clubs who are after the signature of the former Ashanti Gold, Elche and Villarreal midfielder.
