Anyone Who Wants To Know Where Ken Kuranchie Is Should Make Contemptous Statements

A member of the government communication machinery, Alhaji Naziru Mohammed has ironically advised the Young Patriots who are agitating to know where the Managing Editor of the Daily Searchlight, Mr. Ken Kuranchie is presently kept in prison custody to make similar comments and write ups of Ken Kuranchie and the law will help them to locate him. According to him it is within the purview of the Supreme Court judges to invite anybody to the court for contemptuous statements without questioning; in that the case of Ken Kuranchie should be addressed as a bad conduct and condemned outright. Making his submission on Okay FM, he said that one of the Supreme Court Justices has assured as the constitution demands that the media should have their freedom to report on any issue except that the freedom should not be used to impugn the integrity of the Supreme Court Justices and their duty in the country. In his assessment of the court proceedings, he said that with the way some people are still talking about the Supreme Court hearing on the 2012 election petition in an irresponsible way; it meant the warning of the Supreme Court judges has not sunk well in their ears. He averred that every comment should be decent and remain truthful to the court proceedings without preparing the minds of Ghanaians towards the direction of certain perception which will eventually create chaos in the country. He however was not pleased with the reaction of the Young Patriots since Ken Kuranchie has been going through several transfers in different prisons; adding that the Young Patriots should not blame the President and Gbevlo Lartey for what is happening to Ken Kuranchie. He further said that since they (the Young Patriots) are confessing their love for Mr. Kuranchie and demanding to know the where-about of him, they should make those irresponsible statements which emanated from him and with the help of the law they will meet him. He again dared them that if you love Ken and you want to see where he is, you must make those irresponsible statement and see if you wont be taken to see where Ken is. He said that those comments from the Young Patriots indicate that they are in support of what Ken Kuranchie did but none of them is prepared to step in the shoes of Mr. Kuranchie to make similar statements about the Supreme Court; advising that they should stop disturbing the public to demonstrate their love for the Managing Editor of the Daily Searchlight.
