The Fires Would Not Stop Now...It Would Blaze More - Renowned Bishop

Fire outbreaks have been rampant this year in Ghana and we have seen many valuable properties destroyed by it. The nation under President Mahama, has made strides to curtail the menace but this has been to no avail. If anybody out there is taking count of the fires, we hope he did not forget to add that of yesterday which gutted a slum community at Abuja near CMB in Accra. This and earlier fire outbreaks which gutted notable market squares in the country, makes Rev. Owusu Bempah believe that Ghana is currently not safe. “Ghana isn’t safe as at now, what is going on in the spiritual world is not good but should anyone say it, there are people ready to foul mouth you”, he said. In an interview with Okay FM, the presiding bishop of the Glorious Word Ministry International made it known that there would be more of the tragedy to come. “The fires wouldn’t stop now, it would blaze more”, was his word. According to him, when he started warning the nation about the calamity, some people ganged up against him and foul mouthed him to the bone. But he directed that in order to terminate the disaster, it was up to Ghanaians to join forces and pray for God’s intervention.
