A Political Science lecturer at the Kwame Nkrumah University Technology, Aminu Dramani wants political leaders in the country to make public pronouncements of their commitment to accept the verdict of the court irrespective of the direction of the ruling. Speaking in an interview with Radio Gold, the Political Science Lecturer indicated that as the case gradually draws to an end, it is incumbent on the leaders to nullify the palpable tension hanging over the nation. He emphasized that �whether the temperature will continue to go down even after the pronouncement of the court will depend particularly on leaders of the various political parties and commentators on the radio, that�s the media as a whole�We should go ahead and preach peace to them.� Whiles commending Counsels for the Respondents and Petitioners for the mutual respect they exhibited moments after Philip Addison announced the end of his cross examination, he however, stressed the need for a constitutional review. �As people we make the laws and we can amend the laws where necessary. So, if indeed, what they are saying is really something valuable, why do we have to throw it away as a people? Let�s uphold them and see what we can do to improve the law.� he said.
