Amidaus Professionals In Talks With Former Black Stars Captain

Ghana Premier League side, Amidaus Professionals are seeking the services of former Black Stars� captain and ex Accra Hearts of Oak head coach, C. K. Akunnor. After securing the 11th position of the just ended Glo Premier League, Amidaus Professionals would want to hand over the team to C. K. Akunnor to prepare them for the next season. In an interview with Accra-based Happy FM, C.K Akunnor expressed shocked that behind close doors negotiation with the club has been in the public domain, but did not deny his link to Amidaus Professional. �If there is any truth in the rumor circulating, I will be the head coach for Amidaus Professionals next season and hoping to uplift the team to the next level,� he said. C.K Akunnor after an impressive performance with now relegated Sekondi Wise Fighters two seasons ago was named as head coach of Ghana�s oldest club, Hearts of Oak on 19 March 2012 after Nebojsa Vucicevic was fired. Following Abedi Pele�s retirement, C.K. Akunnor was named captain of the Black Stars and holds 51 international caps.
