Travel Bureau Launches Online Booking

Travel Bureau Ghana Limited, a travel, tour and destination management company has officially launch its Online Booking System in Accra. The system website www.travelbureaughana.com is the first of its kind in Ghana and is a one stop shop, which will enable travellers to search, book and pay for airline tickets with credits and visa cards and other methods of online payments from the comfort of their homes, offices and where ever they may be. Travel Bureau's online booking and payment platform which also gives the traveler real time flight information during the booking process was designed by Amadeus IT Group, a world leader in the supply of travel and tourism Information Technology (IT) solutions and Zenith Bank Ghana, the financial partner. Madam Eunits Adu, Chief Executive Officer of the Bureau said the Bureau is committed to provide quality service at a fair and competitive price while continuing to enhance customer service experience. She said with the online service, the Bureau is position to meet international standards and the needs of travel clients. Madam Adu said the body is affiliated with the International Air Transport Association, Ghana Association of Travel and Tourist Agents, Tour Operators Union of Ghana, American Society of Travel and Agents and Africa Travel Association. She said the Bureau�s also provide service including business and individual travels, Flight-domestic, regional and international, hotel bookings, travel insurance, holiday packages, car rentals, tour packages, visa services, courier services, protocol services and events and conference management. Mr Leonard Prince Ashiagbor Junior, Head e-Business Marketing of Zenith Bank Ghana took the participants through how payment is to be done on the system. He said the system is the simplest and time saving one for clients and travellers who uses credit and visa cards. Three simple steps are involved in the booking process: 1. Go to the dedicated website www.cheapflightsgh.com or via Travel Bureau official website to be redirected to the dedicated payment site. This platform also allows the traveler to choose a preferred flight for the journey. 2. Next the traveler inputs his or her personal details as they appear on their passport. 3. Finally the traveler makes payment through any of the numerous payment methods. Even though the payment method allows payment via any bank that allows online transactions, Zenith, SG-SSB, Guarantee Trust, and Stanbic banks are currently partners in the payment facility.
