Groupe Ndoum Holds Review Meeting

NduomManagers and other corporate staff of companies from Groupe Nduom have pledged their commitment to work diligently towards the attainment of one million customers served in 2013, their annual target for the groups diverse services and products. Groupe Nduom is focused on creating an additional 1,000 jobs in Ghana by the end of the year. The team players of Groupe Nduom made this affirmation during a four-day mid-year review conference held at the Coconut Grove Beach Resort at Elmina in the Central Region. The conference was on the theme: We serve our customers with enthusiasm, innovation and discipline... and for the company, we serve with loyalty. The review, the second held this year, is a follow-up to the one held in February, to review the performance of all the business entities under Groupe Nduom, to evaluate their progress and forge ahead with the groups new corporate strategies to maintain economic dominance in Ghana. The chairman of the group, Dr Papa Kwesi Nduom, entreated the team to work harder in the years ahead to consolidate the gains that had been chalked up over the last 20 years. According to Dr Nduom, it is important that we achieve market dominance wherever we find ourselves by offering better products and services to millions of customers in 2013. Dr Nduom charged the brand managers to aspire in maintaining a reputation of high ethics and integrity by making sound business decisions in order to achieve high brand recognition. According to Dr Nduom, the training of personnel of Groupe Nduom would be co-ordinated and managed centrally with the establishment of the Groupe Nduom Training School. Mr Patrick Anumel, the Chief Executive Officer of First National Savings and Loans, said it was a unique occasion for the Groupe Nduom family to meet and evaluate its performance and said the interactions were healthy, which would impact positively on the output of all employees of Groupe Nduom. All the brand managers presented their reports and the outstanding staff were acknowledged at the dinner and awards ceremony held on Saturday night. The Groupes brands have been in existence for over 20 years. They include Gold Coast Securities, GN Investments, Yorke Properties, EPPL, First National, Nduom College of Technology & Entrepreneurship, Coconut Grove Hotels, Ghana Media Group (including Spyder Lee Entertainment), Ghana Growth Fund, Qualtek and others. Groupe Nduom recently acquired the Liberian Enterprise Development & Finance Company, a non-bank financial company based in Monrovia. Groupe Nduom also operates community libraries, the Monica Yorke School, the Elmina Sharks FC and Nduom Foundation and supports many social causes. About a month ago, managers of Groupe Nduom were in Washington DC for strategic meetings and field visits to companies for practical learning purposes. The trip was organised by IBS LLC, a USA-based member of Groupe Nduom.
