14 Year Old Boy Donates Towards Establishment Of Dialysis Centre At 37 Military Hospital

Fourteen year old, Darius Nii Markwei Armah of the Trinity Lutheran School in Tema has presented GH� 5,000.00 to the 37 Military Hospital in Accra. The money was realised at a fundraising musical concert he organised in aid of the establishment of a Kidney Dialysis Centre at the Hospital. Speaking to Radio Ghana, Master Armah said he was moved by the plight of a Kidney patient he saw on television to hold the concert. Mrs Mary Addo, Head of Administration and Corporate Affairs of the Christian Community Microfinance Company said GH� 380,000.00 has so far been realised out of a GH� 1 million target. She said construction of the Kidney Dialysis Centre will start next month and appealed to philanthropists and donors to support the project which is being executed in collaboration with the Christian Council of Ghana.
