Mahama Rather Deserves Commendation For Being StoicNot Akufo-Addo

Chief Executive Officer of the Ghana Free Zones Board (GFZB), Kojo Twum Boafo, says Ghanaians should congratulate President John Mahama for remaining calm and peaceful throughout the election petition. According to him, the President should rather receive the congratulatory messages instead of the 2012 Presidential candidate of the opposition New Patriotic Party, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo, who to him, made certain utterances which could have had adverse impact on the nation. Speaking in an interview with Radio Gold, Mr. Twum Boafo credited President John Mahama for uniting the nation but pooh-poohed the commendations being heaped on the NPP flagbearer for accepting the verdict in good faith. Stressing his point, he expressed that President Mahama has never wavered. He has never changedNobody has heard him say anything; a call to harm, a call to defend, a call to whatever and so, it is President Mahama and his supporters that I want to congratulate for being stoic I dont think that it lay within the purview of the former flagbearer of the NPP to calm nervesLet us congratulate President Mahama for being stoic, for being the leader that weve always known him to be, the GFZB boss said.
