Was Justice Baffoe-Bonnie Really Hooted At?..Did He Run Away From Daughters Graduation?

Kwesi Sainti Baffoe Bonnie, brother of Justice Paul Baffoe Bonnie, has debunked reports that the Supreme Court Judge sped off from his daughters graduation ceremony at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology in an attempt to avoid public ridicule. A member of the Supreme Court panel that sat on the election petition, Justice Baffoe Bonnie, was reported in the Monday edition of the Daily Guide to have been found missing in action when his daughter graduated from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology as a medical doctor last Saturday in Kumasi. The publication revealed that before the arrival of his Lordship, news had saturated the entire Kumasi metropolis that Justice Baffoe-Bonnie would grace the occasion in support of his dear daughter. This information drew a sizeable number of curious people to the auditorium of the Social Sciences Faculty where graduands from the KNUST Medical School were taking the Hippocratic Oath to officially enter the medical profession. The massive crowd, which included a section of the public and students of the KNUST, had trooped into the function expecting to catch a glimpse at the Justice Baffoe Bonnie but in the end, these curious people were disappointed, as Justice Baffoe-Bonnie was nowhere to be found though his name was mentioned as one of the dignitaries present at the event. He was reported to have received his piece of public ridicule from the gathering and had left without leaving behind his footprints. But speaking in an interview with Radio Gold, Mr. Sainti Baffoe-Bonnie, who is believed to be a Presidential Staffer, described the reports as falsehood stressing that his brother was present throughout the function. According to him, Justice Baffoe-Bonnie was not hooted at by the spectators but on the contrary, he was applauded. Hon. Osafo Marfo was applauded. The Honorable MP for Asokwa was applauded. The professors in the medical field were applauded and my brother was applauded. The publication, he stated, is absolutely false and mischievous. It is not trueHe was present.
