National Youth Organizer of the main opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP) Emmanuel Atefuah Danso has descended heavily on President Mahama�s led administration for their inability to take steps against the unwillingness of ISOFOTON and Waterville Limited to refund the judgment debt monies owed to Ghana. He was speaking to comments by the Head of Policy Monitoring and Evaluation at the Presidency, Dr. Tony Aidoo who bemoaned government�s delay in retrieving the judgment debt paid to Waterville Holdings BVI Limited and ISOFOTON SA as the Supreme Court ordered. Dr. Tony Aidoo, over the weekend said, government�s delay in recovering the monies may give their opponents the leeway to slam them since it will reinforce the �create, loot and share� claim underscored by the Supreme Court Judge on the case. According to the NPP National Youth Organizer, President Mahama�s government lacks the political will and commitment to retrieve the monies from these companies which to him leaves many Ghanaians to wonder whether there is a special interest in the judgment debt disbursement by the government. Speaking on Okay FM, he described President Mahama�s government as �audio-visual-oral impaired government�. �...meaning that the government is insensitive to the plight of Ghanaians and he does not see the suffering of the masses as well as hear the cry of the people about their difficulties; NDC is unfriendly to recommendations and reports,� he explained his description of the government. The NPP communicator believes the monies could have been used to settle government�s innumerous arrears it owes state institutions including payment of the statutory bodies to enhance development in the various districts. But surmised that sadly, �nobody in the NDC is interested in chasing after the monies which the Supreme Court has ruled that the government should retrieve from ISOFOTON SA and Waterville Limited�.
