We are poised for another victory Duncan

Hearts coach David Duncan says his side was poised to clinch another three points in their fourth week league game against Sekondi Hasaacas at the Accra Sports Stadium on Wednesday. We approach our matches with a winning mentality and the team is always psyched up for victory. The game against Hasaacas will be no exception. He told the media at a pre match conference at the secretariat of the club on Tuesday. Coach Duncan, said Hearts is gradually warming up to being a very good side and they will contend for every single trophy on the local scene. We have to contend for everything winnable because we have a side that is strong enough to take up any challenge. Coach Duncan however discounted claims that, the present crop of players are in experienced adding that, he was always on the look for efficiency. I admit that, most of these are very young players and having their first experience in the premiership but I must state that they are very efficient and always ready to deliver. The coach however expressed worry over the porous defence of his side having conceded three goals in two matches. He said the defence has been a source of worry to him and the technical team. Coach Duncan attributed the goals to goalkeeping errors on the part of Tetteh Luggard. He noted that they have tasked the goalkeepers trainer to take a special look at the situation and correct the mistakes. There were major howlers on the part of Luggard and we have all admitted that. But I will not put the entire blame on him. We are going to work on that to prepare him well for the remaining matches. On Philemon McCarthy, coach Duncan noted that, the goalkeeper had just returned from injury after six months of inactivity and needs to be prepared physically and psychologically before getting into the post.
