Nine (9) out of Twenty Three (22) passengers, who were on Friday travelling from Kumasi to Edwira in a Mercedez benz 207 bus, met thier untimely death when their bus collided with a tipper truck loaded with stones. Eight of them died on the spot, while the ninth person died while on admission at the Ankaase Methodist Hospital. According to an eyewitness, the tipper truck had rushed onto the road without watching out for oncoming cars. The bus consequently crashed into the rear of the tipper truck. Confirming this, a policeman on the scene said �looking at how the 207 car is mangled, it will be a miracle to have survivors". The 207 bus is completely torn apart. The 207 has been towed away and the bodies deposited at the morgue� It is suspected that the driver of the truck absconded after the incident. Meanwhile, 13 others who are said to be in critical conditions are on admission at the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital (KATH), the Ankaase Methodist Hospital and the Agona Government Hospital.
