Former Information Minister Stephen Asamoah Boateng [aka Asa Bee] has donated some items to the Tamale Central Mosque towards the celebration of this year�s Eidul Adha.
Receiving the items, the leadership of the Central Mosque expressed their profound gratitude to the New Patriotic Party stalwart and thanked him for the gesture and respect for the Muslim community.
The items worth GH 2,000 included bags of rice, cooking oil among other as well as an undisclosed amount of money.
The NPP stalwart also later commended Muslims in the country for their endless prayers for peace and stability for the nation.
�Things will get better for all citizens if dynamic and dedicated people take leadership mantle in the country,� he opined.
He tasked all Imams in the country to use their mosques to preach peace and discipline to the youth.
He again called on all religious leaders to promote inter-religious dialogue since that was the major step in attaining peaceful co-existence as a people with a common destiny.
