"Mahama Needs Our Prayers"

Rev. Isaac Opoku, President of Isaac Opoku Outreach Ministry, has urged Ghanaians to support President John Dramani Mahama with prayers to overcome the socio-economic difficulties confronting the nation. He said the citizens should not capitalize on the weaker areas of the Presidents governance to condemn and hurl insults at him. Rev. Opoku made the call in an interview with the Ghana News Agency in Accra when he launched a four-day mega crusade on the theme Believe and be Saved at Kwashieman School Park on Wednesday. He said Ghana needed the intervention of God in solving the economic crisis and therefore, Ghanaians must engage themselves in serious and fervent prayers. He said the motive of the crusade was to evangelise to fulfill the great commission of God. The ministry would use the occasion to donate items, which include bags of rice, soaps and used clothing worth 20,000 Ghana cedis, to widows, the needy and the vulnerable in society, Rev. Opoku stated.
