Footy-ghana.com understands that former Black Stars captain John Mensah has paid an amount of GH�1000 for the upkeep of his children. Mensah is currently embroiled in a divorce case with his estranged wife, Henrietta and both parties attended a court hearing on Thursday, footy-ghana.com gathers. Our sources at the Accra High Court 10 reveal that the presiding judge, Justice Doris Bempong asked Mensah to provide support for his children�s upkeep, upon which his lawyers handed a cheque of GH�1000 to Henrietta for that purpose. Footy-ghana.com also understands that Justice Bempong cautioned both John and Henrietta, both of whom were present at the hearing, not to grant any interviews to the media until after the resolution of the matter. Both parties will attend the next hearing of the case on Tuesday November 5 2013.
