Warn Your Boys...Alban Bagbin Tells Prez Mahama

Former Minister of Health under late President Mills, Hon. Alban Kingsford Sumana Bagbin has warned the president of the Republic to call his boys to order as their plans have the capability to plunge the government into avoidable chaos and also portray his administration as inept. The former Minority Leader has come under serious attack from one of president Mahamas confidant and presidential staffer, Stan Dogbe, for suggesting that there is no semblance of political leadership and commitment to fight corruption in the country. Hon. Bagbin last week spoke to a number of media houses about what he considered as worried situation in the country and his inability to meet the president to express the growing resentment of both the party and Ghanaians to him. Hon. Bagbin said he called the presidency a number of times to have a meeting with the president but that has not been fruitful. I have spoken to the presidents Executive secretary, Raymond Atuguba, of my desire to meet with the Mr. President on pertinent issues. I have never said I called the president as Stan Dogbe is claiming. I hope his comment doesnt have the backing of the President but I want to say that Mr. President should call his boys to order since Mr. Stan Dogbes association with the NDC became public only after the 2008 election on his Facebook Wall. President Mahama was almost a secretary to Hon. Bagbin during the eight years that the NDC was in opposition. Hon. Bagbin says he did a lot of things to save the image of his former colleague. Senior members of the NDC have expressed their unhappiness about Stan Dogbes attack on Hon. Bagbin and wants the party leadership and president Mahama to bring him to order. One NDC MP from the Northern Region who has been in parliament for twelve years had this to say, "if Bagbins reward for all that he did for the party is insults from parasites and sycophants around the president and nothing has been done to him - then this party is in a very big trouble.
