I Still Miss Terry Bonchaka -Shatta Wale

Ghanaian Dancehall King Shatta Wale has joined the league of Ghanaian celebrities who still treasure the memory and music of the late popular hip life musician, Terry Bonchaka. Shatta Wale, who is currently on tour in the UK, posted in his Twitter handle on Friday that even though it has been 10 years since Terry�s demise, he still missed the �Poulele� crooner. �It�s been 10yrs now since Terry Bonchaka died; please take 1min of your time today to show we still miss him,� the �Dancehall King� singer tweeted. Like Shatta Wale, Terry had his own unique dancehall style. He had powerful hit songs in English and several local dialects. Recently, Terry Bonchaka lookalike, Nash Bonchaka surfaced on the Ghanaian music scene with his song �Taking Over�. He looked and sounded exactly like Terry in the video. Terry Bonchaka died in a car accident on October 29, 2003 on his way from an event at the University of Ghana, Legon. His 10 years anniversary was marked by fans, friends and family around the world with various people trying to depict his unique style on dressing. He had various hit song like �Poulele�, �Ghana Ladies�, and �Zoozey� among others. Terry Adjetey, as he was christened, was the grandson of Former Speaker of Parliament, Peter Ala Adjetey of blessed memory. He attended Ewit Greenwich Classical Academy, where he was Entertainment Prefect, and also the Adisadel College for his basic and secondary school education respectively. Bonchaka until his death, had plans of reading Law.
