Nana Oye Lithur Secretly Conferred With The Supreme Court Justices Before The Verdict - Victoria Hammah

Former Deputy Communications Minister, Victoria Hammah has revived the famous hullaballoo which hovered over the legitimacy of President John Dramani Mahama during the hearing of the Presidential election petition at the Supreme Court, eight months ago. She landed fresh evidence against the President's administration in a revealing tape recording played on NEAT FM yesterday, regarding her colleague Deputy Minister of Gender, Children and Social Protection and her boss Nana Oye Lithur. Ms Victoria Hammah, who on the eve of Friday, November 8, 2013, became the cynosure of curious eyes in the nation; was heard loud and very clear, making explicit revelations about the operations done under the cover of darkness by some government officials. On the leaked tape, a voice purported to be that of Ms Hammah was heard discussing the activities of some Ministers with a female friend, particularly Rachel Appoh who recently was in the news to have stepped on the toes of her boss. In the 32-minute recording, the two ladies who undauntedly descended heavily on Rachel, labeling her as "unwise and ugly" and "deadly" in the NDC, in their interaction revealed that Nana Oye Lithur secretly conferred with the Supreme Court Justices before their verdict on the NPP Presidential election petition. According to her, she made frantic efforts to advise her colleague (Rachel Appoh) not to bicker nor fight with Nana Oye Lithur because she just plays second fiddle to her. I sat her (Rachel) in front of Omane (Boamah, Minister of Communications) defending Rachel for one hour. She had a problem and then, everybody had their opinion about her. I made her look good in front of Omane and the other Ministers. Then, in front of the first lady (Lordina), you want to diss me. Let her sit there. She thinks politics is a joke. "You want to fight Oye Lithur. Tony Lithur controls three Ministries. That Rachel is not wise Tony Lithur has been the friend of the Rawlingses, been a friend to President John, and his wife. I learnt even before the verdict, Nana (Oye Lithur) was with the Justices and all that. You dont know the role she has played for us to win the court case. Then, you want to use your lack of intelligence to push her out... "Tony Lithur and John Mahama, theyve got an alliance. They are allies, you understand. They defend each other. Rachel, who do you have?" she disclosed. She further disclosed that she has secured her place in government and therefore Rachel is nowhere near her class when it comes to the Mahama government. Until she attains her 1 million dollar dream, she will use her influence and access to the President house to remain in office; Hon. Hammah told her friend. "...I understand politics very well. If I haven't made a million dollars I wouldn't go and attack people. If you have money, then you can control people. She described her influence, saying "my appointment was solid way back. So, what does it tell you? That even in terms of influence, Ive more influence than you and Rachel. Even you who won your seats, they have crammed you, two, in the Gender. And you wont seek wisdom. The moment you lose your Ministerial job, you lose your might and influence. Then you become unpopular in your constituency. When somebody contests you, you see that your place is in trouble. Then youll be done, youre finished.
