The celebration of the birth of Jesus Christ is supposed to be merry making among Christians but in Ghana the celebration has always been accompanied by series of horrific accident on our major roads. Unfortunately, a house belonging to one Mr. Ackom Baidoo at Senya Bereku has been ran down as an Articulator Truck from Gomoa-Koti upon a break failure veered off the main road killing the driver and leaving 8 children in the house severely injured. According to Peace FM News Correspondent, Seth Mantey, the driver of the Articulator Truck with registration number GT 7288-B which had loaded 69 bags of cement had break failure and sensing the danger of killing many people, veered off the road; crashing into the house. He added that 8 children within the age range of 8-10 years who were selling in front of the house sustained severe injuries as they were running for their dear lives. The life of the driver�s assistant (mate) was spared though he sustained a deep cut on the head. Meanwhile, the body of the driver has been deposited at the Mortuary of Winneba Hospital while the 8 children and the driver�s mate are on admission at the Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital.
