Bishop Osei Bonsu Cautions Youth Against Social Vices

The General Overseer of the Reformed Faith Salvation Church, Bishop Sampson Osei Bonsu, has cautioned the youth to desist from using unfair means to enrich themselves. He expressed grieve concern about the ever increasing negative practices, such as occultism , cyber fraud, armed robbery , get rich quick attitudes, which have become common among the youth in recent times. He noted that these bad behaviours, have the tendency to ruin their lives and has, therefore, asked them to follow the ways of God and instead work hard to seek his blessing. Bishop Osie Bonsu, who gave the advice at the closing session of the 2014 annual convention of the church at Breman in Kumasi, lamented that most of the youth fail to use their Gods given talents to add value to their living standard, but rather indulge in all sort of negative acts. The three day convention was under the theme, Prepare for the end times Bishop Osei Bonsu, was hopeful that 2014 ,unlike 2013 things will be better. He, however, said this could be realized only when the countrys leaders, depend on God and seek his direction through fervent prayers . He noted that it would be wishful for the country to make any meaningful head way in her quest to attain national accelerated development, if the citizens irrespective their political and religious affiliations, fail to cross fertilize ideas on matters, militating against the progress of the country. Commenting on the activities of the church , he indicated that apart from its core mandate to prepare souls for the kingdom of God, it had put in place human centred policies through which both under privileged members and non members are assisted periodically, materially and financially to sustain them. Our duty goes beyond just preparing souls for God, we help most under privileged members and non members of church through physical supports, he said.
