A thirty-three year old Thai was given the shock of her life after she was allegedly raped by armed men at her residence at Daduako in Kumasi in the Ashanti Region.
The victim, whose name is withheld, claims to be a virgin and lives in a rented apartment together with two other sisters and a Ghanaian brother-in-law.
The three unmasked robbers stormed the house, Tuesday evening, and made away with cash amounts of 5,500 Ghana Cedis and 800 dollars. Other items stolen include a laptop, jewelry, seven mobile phones and a generator.
The robbers locked up the couple in a closet and ransacked the premises to steal valuable items. They attempted raping two of the ladies but one was spared because she was in her menses. The 33-year old virgin was allegedly raped while the others looked on.
The three ladies are Thai nationals operating a Traditional Massage Centre cited within their residence. The Tech Police have started investigating the case. No suspect has been arrested.
