Seven Die In Two Separate Accidents

Three People have been confirmed dead this morning when a metro mass bus with registration number AS 7138 Y they were travelling in crashed into a parked articulator truck at Akomadan Nkenkasu in the Ashanti Region. An eyewitness who spoke to Hellofm's king Edward this morning explained that the driver of the metro mass bus who left the terminal in Kumasi to Techiman around 7:30am in the morning lost control of the vehicle, veered of the road and crashed into the parked truck. "There were only two police officers around so the town folks used machete, axes and chainsaw to cut the bus to enable them rescue some of the trapped passengers",the eyewitness noted. In a related development,Four persons died on the spot,seven others seriously injured at the early hours of Thursday when a Benz Sprinter bus with registration no.AW 4072-13 collided with a KIA truck with reg.no AS 2648 Q at Nawurupe in the Northern region. According to an eyewitness, the sprinter bus was heading to Kumasi from Bawku while the KIA truck was from Damango to Tamale.Our Northern regional correspondent,Kwabena Ntow told hellofm's King Edward that the accident might have occurred due to the foggy nature of the weather. The bodies of the deceased have since been deposited at the morgue whiles the 7 others are responding to treatment.
