My Brother Has Gone Too Soon - Herbert Mensah

The former Chief Executive officer of Asante Kotoko, Herbert Mensah has described the sudden death of his close friend Komla Dumor as shocking and very devastating. I was in London with him just last week only to wake up on Saturday to hear of his demise. Speaking to Hello FM's King Edward on Monday morning, Mr. Mensah said he recalls how Komla was very supportive of the May 9 2001 stadium disaster victims. He even set up a fund at Joy FM to support the victims and was constantly visiting them at the 37 Military hospital. He pointed out that, Komla was planning to visit Kumasi together with some compatriots from BBC for this year's May 9 celebrations to engage football fans about the need to be tolerant on the field. Ghana and Africa has indeed lost a great broadcaster, Herbert noted.
