Vice President Back Home From Addis Ababa With Hope For A Better Future

The Vice President Paa Kwesi Amissah-Arthur says the difficult situation in 2013 has paved the way for a better future for Ghanaians. He said though efforts have been made to address the prevailing challenges, government is not resting on its oars to deliver on its promise. The vice president, Amissah-Arthur who was interacting with a cross section of Ghanaians living in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia after the closing of the 22nd African Union summit, indicated that the initial challenges times, were as a result of the uncertainty of the outcome of the election petition. He described the 22nd ordinary session of the heads of state and government as successful as more African leaders have taken keen interest in the democratic development in Ghana. For her part, the minister for foreign affairs and regional integration, Hannah Serwah Tetteh said the determination of government to accelerate socio economic growth gives hope for the future. Meanwhile Vice President Amissah Arthur has since returned home from Addis Ababa where he led the Ghanaian delegation to the A.U summit.
