N.A.D. Sung returned a net score of 60 to win the February edition of the Celebrity Golf Club Coca-Cola Medal Championship, played at the Celebrity Golf Course at Sakumono, near Tema on Saturday. Sung who played 88 gross with a Handicap of 28, will now be playing to a new Handicap of 23. Samuel Adjapong, whose hard work earned him 62 net, took the second position, while Stephen Afari placed third with 70 net. In the Ladies segment, Aileen Conteh came first with 66 net, Briggette Harrington placed second with 68 net, while Cathy Boateng took the third position with 70 net. The one-day 18-Hole Medal Play event which attracted more than 100 golfers, was sponsored by The Coca-Cola Bottling Company of Ghana Limited. Mr Andrews Wilson, Competition Secretary of the Celebrity Golf Club, praised the company for sponsoring the competition, and called on other corporate bodies to help develop the sport to international standards.
