The Ministry of Finance is negotiating a deal to purchase equipment for the security services to enhance their operations. President John Mahama, who announced this at the annual WASSA of security personnel at the presidency, noted that the safety of a country is compromised if its security services are handicapped. President Mahama also announced training packages for the personnel to start soon.
